Rally Day.  We celebrate the return to the regular worship schedule and the beginning of Sunday School and Adult Bible Study.  We will also have our 2nd annual Chili Cook Off following the 11:00 a.m.  Join us for the tasting and the fun.  Everyone is welcome.

Grief Share will begin on Thursday, September 16 from7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the old office.  The class will run for 13 weeks.  If you would like further information, contact the church office at 703-573-0295.

Friday, September 24 - Sunday, September 26
Chesapeake District LWML Convention will be held from Friday, September 24 - Sunday, September 26 in Richmond at the Holiday Inn Select - Koger Center.  It will be a weekend of fellowship, Bible Study, uplifting speakers and more.  As a lady of St. Paul’s you are automatically a member of LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) and are invited to participate.  Further information about LWML and specifically the Chesapeake District LWML Convention (along with a registration form) is available in the May issue of the Mite Brigade.  Copies of this issue are available on the table in the Narthex for anyone to pick up and look through.  Even is you cannot attend the convention, you are encouraged to look through a copy and see what is being done in other districts throughout the area.

Saturday, November 20
WALKATHON 2010 - The Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Campaign has begun.  Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area is a beneficiary again this year.  LSS/NCA has set a goal of at least 1,000 walkers and 500 virtual walkers (Yes!  A virtual walker!).  If they make their goal, Fannie Mae will award them with a $25,000 bonus. You can visit the web site at www.helpthehomelessdc.org for further information or keep checking the bulletin for further information on how to register and specify LSS/NCA as your beneficiary.
